La Magnanerie de Montréal - Meublé de tourisme
Ranking carried out in February 2023

This former silkworm farm is located in southern Ardèche and is available for seasonal rental. It is close to the village of Montréal, set in the southern foothills of the Tanargue massif. A 15-minute walk from the castle (12th century) and a 15-minute drive from Largentière castle (13th century).

It’s also around 30 km from the Ardèche gorges, numerous caves and avens, and the Caverne du Pont d’Arc (grotte Chauvet 2).

The medieval village of Montréal offers beautiful calade walks, even on summer days, when strollers can enjoy the narrow, shady streets.

The house is in a cul-de-sac surrounded by a garden of over 3000 m2 (of which approx. 150 m2 is fenced). It lies at an altitude of 290 m, some 50 km from the Rhône valley (Montélimar). A large private parking lot makes it easy to park a dozen cars.

A boulodrome set in a green area is the perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family.

And to keep kids and teens happy, Montreal City Hall has installed a “City Park” 400 m from the residence, with slides, a swing, a basketball court, fitness equipment, a skateboard track and barbecues…

A private heated swimming pool is also located in the small fenced garden adjoining the house.

The living area is over 250 m2. There are 6 bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. Most rooms are heated and/or air-conditioned.

The well-equipped kitchen opens directly onto the south-facing terrace, with a plunging view over the pool.

Two flat-screen televisions with TV decoders are at your disposal: one in the living room and the other upstairs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and around the pool and bowling green.
